Our Approach
Balance Yoga is a non-dogmatic yoga that emphasizes balance,
modern day fitness, personalization and holistic health. The Balance
Yoga Certification course meets the requirements for the Yoga
Alliance's 200-hour registered yoga teacher and prepares teachers
with a combination of theoretical and practical training. Upon
completion, students will be prepared to teach a classical Hatha,
Vinyasa or Power Yoga class.
We offer the training in three formats:

About the course
The yoga course covers and includes:
- Principles of total wellness and fitness
- Yoga history and philosophy
- Yoga asana, breathing and meditation techniques
- Anatomy and physiology
- Teaching methodology, alignment and sequencing
- Professional considerations, safety, liability and continuing
education
- Holistic health and nutrition
- Yoga teaching written and practical exam
