PowerHour
Group Personal Training
PowerHour is a group personal training class intended for
healthy adults. The program uses slow-speed resistance
training for every major muscle. Along with solid nutrition, the
program is guaranteed to get you results fast.
Each workout is 60 minutes in duration and includes:
- Resistance training using weights, bands and your own
bodyweight
- Flexibility training and relaxation for optimal rest and
recovery

More about PowerHour:
- Right Speed: Each repetition of every exercise is
performed in a 10 second fashion, fluidly and without
momentum.
- Perfect Form and Focus: Each exercise is done with
proper breathing, fluidity and focus.
- Optimal Reps: Each set is performed for 6-8 repetitions
until muscular failure.
- Between exercises: Each exercise is performed back to
back, or circuit style, with minimal rest between each.
PowerHour is based on the Power of 10 fitness program. The
program emphasizes muscular time under tension (TUT). Time
under tension refers to the amount of time the muscle(s) is
being stressed (overloaded) during a set. Studies show that
muscle strength and endurance is gained by adequate time
under tension. A recent study shows that personal training can
get you results faster than working out alone.
