How will I save money with PowerHour?
The PowerHour classes can be purchased for $25, a $40 savings from
individual personal training. By purchasing a full ten-week package, you
would save $300 over individual personal training.
I'm out of shape. Is this workout for me?
The PowerHour group personal training classes is a convenient, time
saving and fun group personal training class. It is intended for healthy
individuals. If you have any major condition that would cause for a
specialized program, then individual personal training is more appropriate
for you.
How will I lose weight?
The objective of PowerHour is to build lean muscle mass. Building muscle
accelerates your metabolism and makes you body more fit overall. Even for
women, it is important to have lean muscle mass. Most women will not
create excess bulk because they have only a small percent of the
muscle-building hormones, such as testosterone, that men have.
Will I lose weight?
Your body composition will change with resistance training. You will lose fat
and increase lean muscle mass. This workout will build the muscle that it
takes to burn extra fat calories at rest, even when you are not working out.
Each new pound of muscle that you gain can raise your metabolism by as
much as 50-calories-per-day.
Should I do cardiovascular workouts?
Yes. Cardiovascular sessions are encouraged on days that you do not do
the PowerHour program. We will work with you to identify and plan for the
best activity for you. For healthy individuals, we promote high intensity
interval training HIIT for optimal fat loss.
When will I notice a difference in my body?
Depending on your level of effort, consistency and caloric intake, you will
notice changes in your body within six weeks. Changes may include a new
vitality, improved posture and enhanced strength and endurance.
