Balance Yoga Teacher Training Program
A modern approach to yoga certification and bodywork
Registered Yoga Alliance School at 200 and 500 Hour
Balance Yoga is a non-dogmatic yoga instructor training program
that emphasizes balance, modern day fitness, personalization and
holistic health. The yoga instructor certification prepares
teachers with a combination of theoretical and practical training to
teach a variety of Hatha yoga styles (Vinyasa, Power, Ashtanga, hot
yoga (Bikram yoga), restorative yoga and yoga therapy safely and
effectively.
We offer home study, online yoga certification, residential yoga
teacher training options and yoga retreats. We emphasize
teaching fitness yoga, yoga therapy and spiritual yoga in the yoga
certificate programs below. Yoga scholarships and yoga work study
programs are available.
We offer yoga teacher training/bodywork at the 200-2000 hour
levels. Our 200-500 programs meet the requirements of the Yoga
Alliance and the 1000-2000 hour programs make graduates
eligible to receive board certification as a Holistic Health
Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless
Practitioners (AADP).

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification

- 200 Hour Yoga Certification: This yoga instructor
program sets the foundation to become a certified yoga
instrcutor. It includes basic teaching methodology and
techniques to teach a safe and effective Hatha yoga or
Power Yoga class. Our 200 Hour Balance Yoga is a Power
Yoga Teacher Training, Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training
and Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program.
300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher
Certification & Yoga Teacher Training
- 300 Hour Advanced Yoga
Certification: This program builds on the
200 hour program by adding advanced
teaching methodology and techniques
when teaching yoga. This program is
designed for those who want to deepen
their personal practice and provide yoga
for special populations such as children,
pre-natal, seniors and sports populations.
- 1000 Hour Yoga Therapist:
This program is designed for
students interested in
establishing a complete yoga
therapy and wellness consulting
practice. Course work includes a
consulting practicum, patient
communications, client charting
and therapeutic health
applications of adaptive yoga.
- 200 Hour Yoga Therapy
Training: Our approach to
yoga therapy teacher training
provides therapeutic benefits to
those who need more than

blends Ayurveda therapy
principles adaptive yoga
